Infidel - Demo (2014)

Infidel, from Vancouver, Canada, put out this seven song demo in May and it's some of the best hook filled dark post-punk of the last few years. Their sound floats between post-punk, goth/punk, death rock, and at times reverb soaked shoegaze but never seems to forget it's punk sensibilities.
The excellent vocals and solid rhythm section highlight the bleak melodies while the fuzzed out guitars compliment.
I really hope this band's full length ends up sounding similar because this is perfect.
